Road to Petra

The piggies began their Jordanian journey in Amman

Amman is okay. Maybe better for working in than being a tourist. But the Roman ruins at the top of the city were nice

So the piggies convinced their friend, Alex, to accompany them down south to Petra. They wanted to go straight to Petra but ended up accidentally joining a tour down King's Highway. It was a full day traveling to Petra because they stopped many places on the way.

And Karak castle, one of the largest crusader castles in the Levant, which was built in 1140 (or at least began in 1140).

All in all, a nice excursion, but nothing in comparison to Petra....coming next :)
